iVisitDoc Care & Access

iVisitDoc offers secure virtual visits for many common urgent care needs — from cold and flu symptoms to minor infections and skin issues. You can speak with a licensed provider from the comfort of your home, without needing to visit a clinic.

Yes, iVisitDoc accepts many major insurance plans. You’ll see pricing and coverage details before your visit begins. Some services may also be available as self-pay options.

If your condition requires in-person care, lab work, imaging, or specialist referral, your provider will guide you on the next steps and recommend a local clinic or urgent care center.

Yes. After your virtual visit, you may be able to message your provider for follow-up questions or clarifications based on your treatment plan.

Your provider will assess your eligibility for a prescription or refill based on your symptoms and health history. If appropriate, the medication will be sent to a pharmacy of your choice.

iVisitDoc follows strict HIPAA-compliant standards to ensure your personal and medical data remains safe, secure, and confidential.

About Urgent Care

To renew a prescription virtually, you’ll need to provide relevant health history or prior prescriptions, and in some cases, recent lab results. If appropriate, your provider may renew your medication after evaluating your current condition.

A refill is when you continue using an active prescription with remaining refills. A renewal is needed when your prescription has expired or has no refills left—your provider reviews your health history before issuing a new prescription.

Telehealth visits don’t cover emergencies such as severe abdominal pain, chest pain, difficulty breathing, or symptoms requiring physical exams, imaging (like X-rays), or lab testing. In such cases, you’ll be directed to in-person care.

iVisitDoc providers do not prescribe controlled substances (e.g., Xanax, Adderall), antipsychotics, steroids, GLP-1 weight loss drugs, or medications for unmanaged mental health or alcohol use disorder through telehealth.

Yes, iVisitDoc providers may evaluate and renew treatment for mild to moderate depression and anxiety, depending on your history and symptoms. New prescriptions for complex mental health conditions require in-person care or specialist referral.
