Is this really free for me? How is that possible?
Yes! There’s no cost to you. Your health plan, or healthcare provider sponsors the program on your behalf — including your starter kit and app access. You’ll never be billed for participating.
What happens after I enroll?
Once you’re enrolled, we’ll ship your iVisitDoc Smart Scale directly to your door. From there, you can download the iVisitDoc app to track your weight, set goals, view trends, and personalize your health journey.
Is my personal health information safe?
Absolutely. iVisitDoc follows all HIPAA regulations and applicable privacy laws. Your health data is securely stored and never shared without your consent.
Who qualifies for the program?
You must be eligible through your employer, health insurance plan, or care provider.
Please note:
If you are currently pregnant or have a very low BMI, you may not qualify.
If you already have diabetes, you may not be eligible for the Prevention Program, but you could qualify for a different iVisitDoc program designed for diabetes care.

Does iVisitDoc offer GLP-1 medications for weight loss?
GLP-1 medications may be available for eligible members enrolled in our Diabetes Prevention Program with GLP-1 support, when clinically appropriate.
Am I eligible to receive GLP-1s?
Eligibility depends on several factors:
You must be enrolled in a qualifying iVisitDoc prevention program that includes GLP-1 care.
Your employer or health plan must opt in to cover this option.
You’ll need to meet specific clinical criteria — including showing that lifestyle changes alone were not successful.
Once enrolled, you’ll schedule a visit with a licensed provider to determine if medication is right for you.
What’s the process to get a GLP-1 prescription?
Meet eligibility and program criteria
Schedule a clinical visit with an iVisitDoc provider (or your own PCP, depending on your plan)
Your provider will:
Review your medical history
Evaluate your past efforts with lifestyle changes
Determine if a GLP-1 is clinically appropriate
Discuss expected benefits, possible side effects, and how to use it
If prescribed, the medication may require:
Prior authorization
Proof of program engagement
Appeals or documentation if denied
Your provider or care coordinator will help guide you through the steps.
What will I have to pay for the medication?
That depends on your insurance plan. GLP-1 medications can be expensive, and coverage varies.
If your plan doesn’t cover it, we offer:
Discounted self-pay pricing
Access to patient assistance programs (availability may be limited or temporary)
You’ll be informed of costs before starting treatment.
